San Agustín and Caricuao Served with “Caracas the New Roofs” and Waterproofing Plans

In the San Agustín parish, specifically in the “Marín” community of Caracas, more than 34 families have been favored in the first phase of the “Caracas Plan that of new roofs”.
The information was provided by the head of government of Caracas, Nahún Fernández, on his account on the social network Instagram, in which he pointed out that the initiative promoted by the Housing Foundation (FUNVI) responds to the requests of the 1×10 System of Good Governance and the Great Housing Mission Venezuela.
The plan focuses on replacing poorly maintained roofs, with the objective of improving the living conditions and well-being of the inhabitants. The renovation of the roofs seeks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the families who benefit.
He stressed the importance of this work for the community and the positive impact on the quality of life of citizens. “With this action, the commitment to meeting the needs of the population is reaffirmed, promoting good living and the integral development of communities in Caracas,” he stressed.
On the other hand, he also announced that within the framework of the Waterproofing Plan and thanks to the resources approved by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro through the Federal Governing Council, FUNVI simultaneously addressed 26 buildings in UD-3 and CC2, in the Caricuao parish.
He specified that 30,085 meters of roof were intervened, benefiting a total of 15,300 inhabitants of the point and circle. The works included demolition of the deteriorated mantle, reshuffling and construction of the top floor, installation of microfiber mesh.
In addition, he noted that the application of the second and third layers of elastomeric paint was carried out. “Thanks to social investment, buildings are being guaranteed that will last over time, beautifying spaces and improving the quality of life of our people,” he said.
