From June 22 to 28, San Juan de los Morros will celebrate its 2026 Fairs under the motto “Everything to see”, an event that this year promises to merge devotion to the patron saint, San Juan Bautista, with a varied cultural, sports and recreational agenda for the entire population.

In a review on her Última Noticias website, she specifies that Mayor Katherine Guanipa provided details of the day, assuring that this edition will praise the Sanjuanero people. “We are going to expose everything we have here,” he stressed.

He explained that an inclusive, participatory and leading trade fair schedule has been designed to integrate everything from children to older adults. The main stages of the activities will be the Olympic Village and the facilities of the emblematic Pancho Pepe Cróquer Sports Complex.

The local president announced a preventive deployment coordinated by the Public Security Agencies and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). “We call on the community to enjoy these festivities with total citizenship and conscience,” he said.

Guanipa highlighted that entrepreneurs will have exclusive spaces in the Olympic Village to display and sell their products, and indicated that a service office has been set up in the Merpeco Shopping Center to coordinate all merchants interested in participating.

He also extended the invitation to representatives of the commercial and business sector to actively participate in the development of the fairs, stressing that the joint work will project the potential of the municipality.

The schedule for the San Juan Fairs 2026 will begin next Monday, the 22nd in the Olympic Village, with the election of this year's sovereign of beauty in San Juan. On Tuesday 23rd, the agenda will continue at Pancho Pepe Cróquer with a San Juan reunion, a 2K family walk, sound car exhibitions and various activities dedicated to older adults.

On June 24, the day of the patron saint, the central activities will include an act of adoration in Plaza Bolívar and its surroundings, a civic-military parade, the traditional mass at the San Juan Bautista Cathedral and the procession of the image through the central part of the city, to close with a drum festival at the foot of the Sanjuanote monument.

Sporting events and the presentation of local DJs and artists are scheduled for Thursday 25th. “In addition, we are going to bring surprises with international artists,” said the mayor, who also stressed that a big Vallenato party will be held on Friday the 26th with special guests.

In this order, on Saturday the 27th, the White Dawn will be held with the best exponents of Creole music, while on Sunday the closing will be dedicated to children along with “other activities that are being coordinated,” Guanipa said.
