As part of the activities to democratize scientific and technological knowledge, the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology Apure, through the Massification Plan of the National Scientific Semilleros Program, held an educational day for boys and girls in the community of Caño Seco, in the Achaguas municipality.

The José Ángel Hernández Primary School was the epicenter of this day, which brought together a large group of students from various educational institutions in the area, including E.E.P. José Ángel Hernández, E.P. Horacio Abaño, E.P. José Antonio Bravo, E.P. Eusebio Rivas, L.B. César Alexis Vargas and L.B. Carmen Militza González.

According to a note from the Ministry of Science and Technology, during the activity, dynamic and participatory workshops were held in three key disciplines: Microscopy, Robotics and Astronomy. To complement these experiences, a Fun Chemistry module was added, a playful methodology designed to stimulate interest in science from the first school years.

This initiative, framed within the National Scientific Seedbeds Program and aligned with the objectives of the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, seeks to ignite curiosity in the new generations and underlines the commitment of the Ministry for Science and Technology to the development of scientific and technological capacities in communities, laying the foundations for a promising future in the field of innovation and knowledge.
