Local government begins work to build a plaza in the town of Cata on the coast of Aragua

In a joint effort between the state and local governments, on the morning of this Wednesday, February 18, earthworks began for the construction of a main plaza in the town of Cata, in the municipality of Ocumare de la Costa de Oro, in the state of Aragua.

Mayor Wilmer Leal reported that the square will be located in the Las Casitas sector and will be consolidated as an iconic place for the coastal town, where recreation and healthy leisure come together.

In addition to these works and as actions at the end of the carnival holiday, the crews of the Foundation for the Development of the State of Aragua (FUNDARAGUA) and the Autonomous Institute for the Development of the Coasts of Aragua (COSTARAGUA), carried out a comprehensive cleaning day in the municipality.

The activity began early in the day in the El Playón sector, where men and women were deployed to carry out sweeping tasks, collecting solid and vegetable waste throughout the coastal axis. In addition, compactor trucks were deployed on the streets of the jurisdiction in order to collect waste, ensuring a clean and safe environment for the well-being of citizens.
