Sector Vice President Ricardo Menéndez: Zoning studies continue in La Guaira

After a helicopter overflight over the state of La Guaira, the sectoral vice-president of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, took stock of the review of the zoning of the different types of land in the town, as part of the actions being carried out by the Venezuelan State.

In this regard, he assured that they are currently reviewing zoning and its different uses in the state in order to present the best possible solutions.

He stressed the importance of evaluating the zoning carried out based on the floods that occurred during 1999, which will make it possible to make the necessary forecasts in the face of the risk of torrential avalanches and the seismic risk for future buildings in the state of La Guaira.

In addition, Menéndez specified that all these works are focused on building a bank of solutions to have different alternatives under the support of international standards that allow safe construction for families living in La Guaira.
