Sectorization Plan will leverage buffalo and cattle ranching starting in April

In a strategic assessment of the capacities of the national countryside, the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, specified that as part of the strategies to energize the sector, various factors of agri-food production are expected to increase their operations in the short term.

This growth will be leveraged by the sectorization plan that begins next April, focusing specifically on the areas of bovine cattle and buffalo farming.

The head of the agrarian portfolio explained that this methodology will allow a more efficient approach to land, by ensuring that the increase in livestock activity directly contributes to the strengthening of the country's food sovereignty.

Popular Power in the Countryside

The recovery of the productive apparatus is not only based on hectares, but on the solid organizational structure of the town. In this regard, the minister highlighted the progress of the peasant organization, which has managed to establish a spokesperson and a spokesperson in more than 15,000 rural communities throughout the country.
