With the activation of the “Carnavales Seguros 2026" operation, Venezuela begins one of the most anticipated festivities of the year. From the Caribbean coast to the Andean mountains, the country has a diverse agenda that combines parades, floats and recreational and cultural activities for the enjoyment of children, young people and older adults.

In Caracas, the program is committed to culture and community sports, prioritizing the emotional well-being of the population. The agenda includes swimming pools, fairs, popular cantatas, bicycles, hikes, a 5K race, as well as poetry and singing contests in parishes and communes.

In the state of Bolívar, the Carnival of Callao is the traditional celebration, which will begin on Saturday, February 14 with concerts and the election of queens. On the 15th, 16th and 17th, troupe tours with devils, fantasies and madamas will take place .

Meanwhile, in Cumaná, Sucre state, the activities will take place from February 13 to 17 on Cacique Maragüey Avenue, under the theme “Venezolanity and Patriotic Sovereignty”. Educational parades are scheduled for Friday the 13th; Saturday the 14th will be the queen's election, and from the 15th to the 16th the traditional deployment of floats.

In the Apure state, the Ecotourism Carnivals, under the motto “Our Passion”, will highlight biodiversity and llanera culture. San Fernando and the Pedro Camejo municipality will welcome their own and visitors with a program that merges landscapes and traditions.

The festival began on February 12 with the Great Parade and Carnival Cry. On Friday the 13th, the coronation of the Mini Queens and the Mozas del Llano will take place, while on Saturday the 15th the La Macanilla resort will host an evening with bonfires, reggae and the traditional “Joropomoteando”. The closing will include a costume contest and Joropo night on the José Alí Nieves stage, as well as cultural activities and beach volleyball in the El Playón sector.

In Miranda, the Brión 2026 Carnival for Peace and Sovereignty kicks off on Friday, February 13, with a tour of school troupes. On Saturday 14th, in Plaza Bolívar in Tacarigua, the coronation of the representative of the carnivals will take place. The parades will take place on Sunday 15th and Monday 16th, while on Wednesday 18th the traditional Burial of the Sardine will be held in Higuerote, starting from Dolores Rivas Square.

The state of Táchira also joins the celebration with an agenda full of color and tradition. In the municipality of Bolívar, the 57th edition of the International Border Carnival begins with a binational parade of 100 horsemen and the deployment of 550 security officers. The program includes the election of the queen of the elderly, parades over the weekend and the coronation of the sovereign on Monday the 16th on Avenida Venezuela, with the participation of representatives from the North of Santander.
