SENADES promotes school coexistence and prevention of bullying in three states of the country

The National Service for Disarmament (SENADES), deployed a series of training sessions in the states of Guárico, Apure and Delta Amacuro to consolidate educational spaces free of violence and promote a culture of peace.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace, officials visited the Lourdes Camero Ramírez Educational Complex, in the Leonardo Infante municipality, in commemoration of National Tree Day, the team developed the “A Seed of Peace” day; during the activity, students planted trees symbolically and participated in dynamics aimed at promoting environmental conservation and responsible coexistence.

On the other hand, in San Fernando de Apure, the Senades coordinated the “Magic Tree” activity at the “Laura Crucelis Montes” Initial School. At this meeting, 18 schoolchildren practiced values such as empathy and respect through traditional games and children's dynamics. In this way, the preventers reinforced the importance of peaceful sharing.

Finally, the institution held a workshop on the prevention of bullying at the “Tertuliana de González” Bolivarian Primary School, located in the Tucupita municipality. The promoters provided practical tools to students in the last grades to identify and address bullying through dialogue and timely reporting.
