The AB Simón Bolívar School Ship (BE-11) successfully arrived at Bird Island, the northernmost point of the Venezuelan geography, as part of its current “Ambassador Without Borders” training cruise.
The vessel is making a strategic stop at the Simón Bolívar Naval Science Base, reaffirming its institutional presence and the exercise of sovereignty on the country's maritime boundaries, according to the official Instagram network of the Ministry of People's Power for Defense.
Aboard the “Ambassador Without Borders”, the cadets of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (UMBV) participate in this expedition that combines high-level nautical training with recognition of the national territory. This visit allows future officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces to strengthen their knowledge in astronomical navigation and deep-water maneuvers, while paying honors at the most remote border post in the Venezuelan Caribbean.
The ship's presence at the Naval Science Base consolidates the role of the Bolivarian Navy in safeguarding resources and territorial integrity, maintaining the spirit of integration and peace that characterizes its international mission.
