Personnel from the National Public Health System (SPNS) were deployed in Bolivar state to provide care to Caicara families affected by the flooding of the Orinoco River, the health minister said.
Through a video posted on her Telegram channel, the head of the Health portfolio said that professionals settled in the Natalio Loreto Vásquez Bolivarian National Educational Unit, located in the Punta Cedeño sector, to provide medical care and deliver medications adapted to the specific diagnoses of each patient.
She also pointed out to the minister that this health center has become a refuge for more than 115 families who lost their homes as a result of the above-mentioned natural phenomenon.
