Strategic Operational Commander: Plan República will be maintained until August 25

The Head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that the Republic Plan will remain active in the country until August 25.

“We have contributed to the Venezuelan State through the electoral power as the governing body. The deployment of more than 411 thousand personnel is maintained by those who are on missions of accompaniment, security, custody, transfer of voters, as well as electoral equipment and instruments and facilities,” he said.

He added that the third phase known as “post-electoral” began, which involves the radial and linear retreat of the media, forces and material. The electoral material will be retracted in the opposite direction to how it was carried out during the deployment.

“Operation Plan República will remain active until August 25, after the completion of the process of elections for indigenous representation, which will take place on August 3rd,” he concluded.
