Last Friday, April 19, Venezuela successfully opened the doors of its Pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition — The Venice Biennial, with the exhibition: “Juvenal Ravelo Participatory Experience”, paying homage to the master of kinetic art who already has more than 70 years of experience in the artistic world.

In his account on the social network X, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, stressed that the inauguration was “attended by diplomats from various friendly nations and a diverse audience attracted by the color of the installation and the possibility of participating in the painting of a mural by Juvenal Ravelo as an example of his 'art of participation in the street'”.

He also emphasized that through a voice message, President Nicolás Maduro and his person sent their congratulations and thanks to the illustrious son of Caripito, Monagas state, for “having agreed to represent the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in this biennial that mobilizes hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world every year”.

For his part, the teacher Juvenal Ravelo thanked the Bolivarian Government and the team that accompanied him in this participatory experience that made possible this comprehensive project in this global space of art.
