With great strength and burden of love, the town of the Altagracia parish, in the Sucre municipality, in the state of Sucre, this Friday, May 17, was the scene of a massive march in support of the victorious president, Nicolás Maduro, and in rejection of the sanctions and criminal blockade of the American empire against Venezuela.

The mobilization was presided over by the territorial liaison of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jesús Fanía, accompanied by the municipal political leader, Luis Sifontes, as well as members of the state political team, the municipal political team, the parish political team and the organized Popular Power.

Faria denounced the catastrophic consequences of the blockade imposed by the United States against Venezuela.

“Fortunately, we have been reversing them, but we say that neither politically nor morally nor illegally these sanctions can continue to be applied against our people,” he said.
He also reaffirmed that today the People of Venezuela are in the streets in defense of the independence of the Homeland. “Hope is in the streets (...) The streets belong to the people and we are going to defend the Revolution and sovereignty,” he said.

With this great red tide in the street, the Chavista militancy of Altagracia continues to be at the forefront in defending the Homeland of Bolivar and the legacy of Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, saying no to the sanctions imposed by imperialism.
