Sucre Government announces modernization of the Coastal Belt of the city of Cumaná

The governor of the state of Sucre, Jhoanna Carrillo, announced the modernization of the Coastal Belt in the city of Cumaná, located on Cacique Maragüey Avenue.
Governor Carrillo explained that the project includes the installation of an interactive fountain, the construction of the Plaza de la Amistad, restoration of the amphitheater, as well as the construction of a new battery of bathrooms, with the purpose of creating spaces that allow citizens to share with family and friends. In addition, new green areas, pergolas, gardening will be created. At the same time, he indicated that they will also optimize the public lighting system, the parking areas and a command post will be installed in the said area for the supervision of the work and the care of the recovered areas, according to the regional press.
Carrillo assured that this initiative, in addition to improving public spaces, will make it possible to leverage tourism in the region and, therefore, economic activity.
