Surgical Plan favored more than 78 boys and girls at the Guarenas-Guatire General Hospital

At the Eugenio Pérez D'Bellard General Hospital, located on the Guarenas-Guatire axis, Zamora municipality, Miranda state, care was provided to more than 78 boys and girls, through the Special Surgical Plan that has been deployed in the country to guarantee the right to health of children.

During the medical day, low and moderate complexity surgeries were performed, such as umbilical and inguinal hernioplasties, orchidopexias and postectomies, all completely free of charge.

The operation was possible thanks to the impetus of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), in coordination with the Government of Miranda State and the medical team of the hospital, in order to contribute to the development and well-being of children.

Actions like this reaffirm the commitment to continue strengthening the public health system, by providing timely, decent and free care to the most vulnerable sectors.
