TÁCHIRA/Pueblo commemorated five years of victory in the Battle of Los Puentes (+Photos)

The people of the state of Táchira filled the streets of the state to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Battle of the Bridges, on the border with Colombia.
The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, led the great caravan in the company of the governor of Táchira, Freddy Bernal.


At the end of the caravan, the people gathered to celebrate this glorious date in the country's contemporary history amidst songs, speeches and slogans.
During his words, Cabello said that “if anyone has guarantees for this country, it's the Bolivarian Revolution.”


The first vice-president of the PSUV called on the People not to be deceived by the right. “They don't allow themselves to be manipulated because they want to be used as cannon fodder.”


In addition, Cabello recalled the late revolutionary leader Darío Vivas, who was in the vanguard that February 23. “This stone bears witness to the story of five years ago, it belonged to Darío, I had it on his desk, when Darío left they sent it to me and I keep it as one of the most valuable things,” he recalled.


The senior leader of the red awning stressed that “today this town of the state of Táchira is here, surely more restricted by the Bolivarian Revolution, every day more determined to be free, and we tell the world from here that they will not pass through Táchira”.
