The Deputy to the National Assembly, Tania Díaz, highlighted the recent meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), in which there are three major emerging powers, a cause of concern for the North American empire
“This political movement that has a great impact because it creates a complex situation for the hegemony of the North American empire, which is still looking for ways to continue putting pressure on the countries of the world,” said the deputies during their program Sin Truco Ni Maña.
At that meeting, the President of China, Xi Jinping, presented an initiative to promote a fairer and more equitable global governance system.
It originally comprised China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Then Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Iran and Belarus joined.
Today, the organization covers approximately 24% of the world's land surface and 42% of the planet's population, with member states representing about a quarter of global GDP and trade that has increased almost 100 times in two decades.
