Technical Commission and UNESCO will evaluate damage to university infrastructure

A technical evaluation commission, with the support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), will be deployed to address damage to university infrastructure, with the purpose of prioritizing the states with the greatest impact.
The information was provided on the Instagram account of the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education (MPPEU), in which Minister Ana María San Juan points out that written reports have already been received, but they want to! consolidate and promote how information is to be presented in a unified manner, since it is necessary to share it with UNESCO and with the Presidential Commission on Rehabilitation.”
He stressed that, after the regular session of the National Council of Universities (CNU), in virtual mode, the measure was agreed in order to evaluate the schools that suffered in their structures after the earthquakes of last June 24. It seeks to coordinate responses to achieve a solution as soon as possible.
In addition, a new session was convened on July 30 to define strategies for the recovery of physical plants and to follow up on the academic schedule.
