Ten training points activated in La Guaira as part of the campaign “The People Go to the Barracks”

The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, reported that ten training centers have been activated in the entity as part of the national day The People Go to the Barracks, in accordance with the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During his speech, Terán emphasized that the activity is carried out in accordance with articles 322 and 326 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which establish the shared responsibility of society for the comprehensive defense of the nation.

“The People of La Guaira have expressed their willingness to participate in military training, in order to guarantee national security and sovereignty in the face of any threat,” he emphasized.

From early in the morning, citizens from different sectors of the state traveled to designated military installations to receive theoretical and practical training. The training included the use of the rifle, self-defense techniques, survival techniques and guidance on territorial defense scenarios.
