The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah carried out dozens of drone attacks on territories in northern Israel this Saturday, according to information published in various international media.

In this regard, the Lebanese movement accepted responsibility and noted that the action was “in response to the attacks of the Israeli enemy against the strong villages and shelters of the south. Our Mujahideen launched an air strike with a dived drone squad against a concentration of enemy soldiers in the immediate vicinity of the Birkat Risha site and hit the target with precision.”

In that regard, they confirmed that they had tied up the Michve Alon base of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), which is used by the military as a regrouping point and ammunition depot.

In response, Israeli aircraft attacked Hezbollah military structures in southern Lebanon and launched several interceptors at the drones, but not all of them were neutralized.

“In the attack, a treatment and rehabilitation center was hit by an interceptor. Beni Ben Muvchar, head of the regional council, affirms that the interceptor rushed into the indoor pool in the center and destroyed without causing casualties,” a national newspaper reported.

According to the IDF, the targets included a Hezbollah operation seen entering a building in Tayr Harfa, rocket launchers in Houla and Qalaat Debba, a drone ready for launch and a member of the Hezbollah air force in an undisclosed area of southern Lebanon, as well as buildings used by the movement and weapons depots in Hanine, Ayta ash-Shab, Khiam and Blida.
