The Permanent Commission on Infrastructure and Urbanism of the Municipal Council of Caracas, within the framework of the Territorial Action Plan (PAT) and the policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro and Admiral Carmen Meléndez, handed over the fully rehabilitated Communal House of the José Félix Ribas Commune, located in the Antímano parish, Bolivarian Libertador municipality.

Councilman Jesús García, president of the above-mentioned Commission, stressed that the aforementioned communal house will function as a meeting space for the community, as well as for the spokespersons and spokespersons of the different leaders. A food house will also operate there and the different social missions, including Ribas and Robinsón, will provide training. “It's a space that also serves as a Mission Base.”

The rehabilitation included the installation of the ceiling in the platabanda, the restoration of walls, the improvement of lighting and the electrical system, painting on walls and the construction of space for the kitchen.

Community spokespersons took the opportunity to deliver road and staircase repair projects in several community councils to the Minister of Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado.

Working Together for Community Empowerment

The Minister of Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, participated in the delivery of the communal house and took a tour, verifying the organization and productive capacity of textiles, planting and animal husbandry, among others.

Prado emphasized the importance of uniting the strength of Popular Power with that of communal councils and communes, to promote projects stemming from both the Territorial Action Plan and the popular consultation promoted by President Maduro, in the month of April.

Cement delivery and project progress

Councilman Jesús García said that they recently made the fifth delivery of cement bags to projects in the fourth cycle of the Territorial Action Plan (PAT), totaling 3,600 bags delivered to communal councils and communes in Caracas.

Currently, 68 projects are included in this phase of the Plan and more than 30 received cement this weekend. In the next 15 days, almost 40 works are expected to be delivered, thanks to the support of Mayor Carmen Meléndez and the personal monitoring carried out by the Plan.

More than 100 cubic meters of aggregates

In addition to cement, more than 100 cubic meters of aggregates such as washed sand, dust and stone have been delivered, supplementing the materials needed for the completion of the works.

Commitment to the welfare of the people of Caracas

The rehabilitation of the Communal House and the progress in the execution of projects of the Territorial Action Plan are proof of the commitment of the Bolivarian Government led by President Nicolás Maduro to the welfare of the people of Caracas.

The actions taken seek to strengthen Popular Power, improve the quality of life of communities and contribute to the integral development of the city of Caracas.
