The 20th International Book Fair of
Venezuela (FILVEN) will begin its national tour in October from this Friday
4th to Sunday 6th, through the Páez municipality of the state of Apure, with the motto Reading transforms.
According to information from the Ministry
for Culture, this time the writers honored will be the regional writers Ramón de Jesús Ojeda Crusate and María de Jesús Ortega.
In addition, Próspero Guillermo González Méndez, who has
participated in academic publications as an educator with a solid background
in the field of Human and Social Sciences, will attend as a guest.
At this book festival, Apureñas and
Apureños will be able to enjoy editorial news, talks, workshops and
activities for girls and boys in the traditional children's pavilion.
Among the editorial offerings will be the titles of The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila, the Ayacucho Library and the publishing houses attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC).
