The Bolivarian Government has collected more than 420 tons of solid waste in Ocumare de la Costa for the feast of San Juan Bautista

A total of 420 tons of solid waste have been collected in the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast of the state of Aragua over the past seven days, in order to have spaces ready for the celebration of San Juan Bautista.

This was detailed by Mayor Wilmer Leal, who specified that among the areas served are the town of Cata (town, houses and the bay) as well as the hamlets of Aponte, Cumboto and La Trilla.

“In addition, hand in hand with the staff of the municipal cleaning department, the areas of Ocumare town, La Constancia 1,2,3, Las Ánimas, La Boca, El Recreo, the main avenue of El Playón, Fuerza Armadas street, California street, Bolivar and Miranda squares and El Malecón were attended to.”

The staff, according to a press release from the municipality, will remain deployed in order to keep the Aragüeña coast clean during the next few days when a large number of visitors are expected to be present.
