A total of 30,000 tons of asphalt have been placed on Autopista de Oriente Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, specifically on section eight, Píritu - Pachaquito.

During an oversight, the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, highlighted the strategic importance of this route to boost the regional economy, significantly reducing travel times for merchants and boosting tourism in the area.

In this regard, the Government explained that these works are carried out on the 11.3 km of road extension, in its first phase, and added that it is also carried out in soil sanitation, the conditioning of the support surface.

He also explained that this action is promoted by the Ministry of the People's Power of Public Works.
