The Bolivarian Government has placed 40,000 tons of asphalt in Táchira

More than 40,000 tons of asphalt have been placed in the state of Táchira in 2024, through the Road Institute (IVT).

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Últimas Noticias, the asphalting work was carried out in the 29 municipalities of the entity.

In this regard, Ángel Márquez, president of the entity, indicated that “2024 has been one of the most positive years in road management, thanks to this ongoing work led by our governor and the coordination with the national government, which has also allowed the execution of 68 infrastructure works through the IVT”.

He also noted that it is estimated that more than 150,000 tons of hot asphalt will be placed on the entity's roads, within the framework of the Master Plan for Future Management.
