More than 1 thousand tons of asphalt have been placed from kilometer 72 of the Central Regional Highway (ARC), in the direction of Maracay-Caracas, with the aim of improving the main road routes of the Aragüeña state.
This was reported by the governor of Aragua, Karina Carpio, who highlighted the effort that was made to place all that asphalt in the ARC.
“We have articulated very important public policies with regard to asphalting in our state. Thanks to the fact that we maximized our efforts, we completed the installation of a thousand tons of asphalt in the ARC, and we are going to continue,” said Carpio, according to a press release from the Government of Aragua.
The regional president indicated that this asphalting plan will be extended to the state's 18 municipalities, placing 40 tons per day, which represents about 200 tons per week to optimize road infrastructure in the region.
This plan responds to the 1×10 System of Good Governance guided by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and is materialized in coordination with the Ministry of Transportation and with the regional company Vías de Aragua, which carry out scarification, asphalting and demarcation of 63 kilometers of this important road artery.
