The Bolivarian Government inaugurated the 1st UNES 2024 Science, Technology and Innovation Expo

The Sectorial Vice President for Public Security and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, inaugurated the 1st UNES 2024 Science, Technology and Innovation Expo, which aims to strengthen the operation of citizen security bodies.

“We are opening up a whole path for scientific-technological innovation leveraged in the Great Peace Quadrants Mission; from the National Experimental Security University (UNES) together with the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education,” Ceballos Ichaso reported.

He also stressed that these procedures and prototypes will undergo technological scaling to become solutions to the requirements of the organs and entities of the Security System.

He also highlighted that there are projects for all areas of the Great Peace Quadrant Mission, such as the Prison Service. “These methods are to combat threats, risks, vulnerabilities and ensure that Venezuelans can make perfect use of all their rights.”

The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), also announced that there is a great connection with missions and great missions to break technological fences as established by President Nicolás Maduro Moros.

In the first phase of the Expoferia, which took place throughout the country, 157 projects were submitted, of which 34 were selected for the second phase.

The Expoferia will be active on 25, 26 and 27 June at the UNES facilities in Catia, Sucre parish of the Capital District, where technological advances can be learned through the 34 exhibition stands.
