The Bolivarian Government incorporated new hemodialysis machines at the Núñez Tovar Hospital in Monagas

The Ministry of People's Health Power equipped the Nephrology Unit of the “Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar” University Hospital in Monagas, with four hemodialysis machines.

Thanks to this innovation, the daily capacity of the service has increased from 40 to 60 patients.

The Single Health Authority of Monagas, Yerika Alzolay, reported that the modernization will reduce waiting times and improve the organization of renal treatment. It also announced the addition of four specialized nurses to cover shifts from Monday to Friday.

The management of the hospital and the management of the Dialysis service emphasized that these teams reinforce the care network and ensure the continuity of the necessary replacement treatments for the region's nephrological population.
