The Bolivarian Government of Aragua is preparing to receive more than 12 thousand people on the feast of San Juan Bautista

With a deployment of more than 2,100 security personnel, the Bolivarian Government of Aragua began the special operation San Juan Bautista 2026, all with the objective of protecting the more than 12,000 seasonal workers expected to visit the coastal axis for these traditional festivities.
The Secretary General of Government, Belén Arteaga, reported that the operation will be active from Tuesday, June 23 to Thursday, June 25. However, the authorities are constantly evaluating traffic flow, so the device could be extended throughout the weekend.
“We inform that the reservation required for these important cultural and religious activities is planned in Choroní, Cuyagua, Chuao, Cepe and Ocumare de la Costa (Gold Coast),” Arteaga said.
The authority stressed that for this holiday the tourist projections are highly positive, since it is estimated that more than 12 thousand seasonal workers will arrive on the coast of the entity, confirming that Aragua remains the favorite destination in the center of the country.
1,200 officials will be deployed at strategic points, 100 vehicles, 250 motorcycles and 04 cranes.
As a fundamental preventive measure, the authorities reported that a vehicle restriction will be applied during night hours for providers of public transport and excursion services that are foreigners (coming from other states).
