The Bolivarian Government provided funding, coolers and motors, to the National Union of Fishermen and Aquaculturists (UNPA) and Councils of Fishermen, Aquaculturists and Aquaculturists (CONPPA) of the state of La Guaira.

During the activity, 250 refrigerators were delivered to 25 councils of Fishermen, Aquaculturists and Aquaculturists of the entity.

The neuralgic objective of this provision is to strengthen the cold chain, ensuring that fish protein reaches the Venezuelan people with the highest quality standards.

In the same way, a comprehensive fleet maintenance and modernization plan was initiated, including the delivery of sawn wood, which will be used for the technical repair of boats.

In addition, the renovation of the motor park was activated, with the delivery of 15 engines to fishermen who live on the east, west and central coastline, an action carried out through the innovative 50/50 Rotating Fund, a mechanism designed to facilitate access to outboard motors in a sustainable manner.

The day also marked a milestone in the funding of grass-roots projects. The green light was given to resources for the 290 projects approved in the Popular Consultation, reaffirming the role of the CONPPA as engines of local development.

In addition, the execution of the special fund for productive projects of fishing youth was announced, betting on generational replacement in the country's maritime and river operations.
