The Chamber of Construction is active and united to the National Reconstruction Plan

The President of the Venezuelan Chamber of Construction (CAVECON), Gustavo García, positively assessed the work carried out by the Venezuelan State in terms of evaluating land that was affected in the state of La Guaira by the double earthquake recorded in the northern coastal area of Venezuela on June 24.

He also specified that various State institutions, working together with the private sector, have established a joint plan to contribute to the rescue and rescue process, in a first phase and, currently, in the work of removing and collecting debris derived from collapsed buildings.

Gustavo García, raised the need to establish economic measures and legal reforms that contribute to the post-earthquake National Plan for Housing Reconstruction.

In this regard, he referred to the possibility of establishing tax exemption for the import of construction materials.

These statements were issued in the presence of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who led the National Economic Council to strengthen the “Venezuela Renace” Strategic Plan together with more than 600 representatives of the productive sector.

This initiative activates 10 key economic engines, including construction, food, banking and the communal economy to energize the productive apparatus and guarantee supply after the recent natural emergency that occurred in the past
