The governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, announced the signing of the letter of intent to begin the construction phase of the first heavy machinery assembly plant in Venezuela.

This was announced, through his account on the social network Instagram, in which he indicated that the signing was carried out in the Capitol of Carabobo.

He said that it is “the third largest manufacturer of heavy machinery in the world, XCMG”.

He thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, “for his correct guidelines in terms of strategic alliances and thus being able to count on commercial partners of this magnitude who project the development of the country and the state.”

“This is a historic day for Carabobo and Venezuela because we give continuity to the instruction of our head of state to make strategies with the People's Republic of China, which we attended in November 2023, to create the conditions for a new strategic alliance and today it was demonstrated.”
