The men's and women's national under-17 volleyball teams already know who their rivals will be in the group stage of the world championships in the category that they will play in Doha and Chile, respectively.
The women's national team, which qualified for the first time after being crowned in the South American Championship in 2025 after defeating Brazil 3-0 (25-22, 25-14 and 25-22) in the final, was in group B of the tournament.
The Criollas will face the national teams of Tunisia, Turkey, China, Peru and Mexico from August 5 to 15 in Santiago de Chile.
Group A will be led by host Chile, along with the teams of Turkey, Egypt, the United States, Thailand and the Czech Republic.
In pool C you will find one of the most complicated keys, made up of the power Japan, the always favorite Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Croatia and Spain.
Finally, pool D will consist of Italy, China, Taipei, Puerto Rico, Korea, the Dominican Republic and Algeria.
For its part, in the men's category, the national team that won its ticket to the World Championship in Doha, Qatar, after defeating Chile 3-1 for the bronze medal in the South American tournament in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina.
Venezuela was placed in group D, and they will face Cuba, Spain and the Czech Republic on the court from August 19 to 29 in Doha.
Pool A will be led by the host Qatar, Mexico, France and Poland, while pool B is comprised of Italy, Tunisia, India and Romania.
Argentina leads pool B, along with representatives from Puerto Rico, Pakistan and Algeria. While the sextets of Iran, Brazil, Bulgaria and Japan make up pool E.
Finally, pool F will close the first phase with the crossings between China and Taipei, Egypt, the United States and Turkey.
