The National Government delivered cocoa beans with guaranteed genetic quality to 91 producers in the state of Miranda

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (Mincyt), delivered 10,900 cacao seeds to producers in the state of Miranda.
As part of the Scientific Technological and Innovation Network for Cocoa, promoted by the Scientific-Peasant Alliance, 91 producers from the municipalities of Buroz, Páez, Andrés Bello and Brión benefited.
According to a MINCYT press release, these cocoa beans have a guaranteed genetic quality that meet the objective of improving the performance of this sector and strengthening the mass production of cocoa plants.
The Cenidic, located in the municipality of Acevedo, has a mass seed production program through targeted pollination, which guarantees the obtaining of quality, productive and sovereign crops.
