The National Government has placed more than 3 thousand tons of asphalt on roads in Mérida

The National Asphalt Plan has placed more than 3,000 tons of aggregate in the streets and interurban roads of the Campo Elías municipality of Mérida, the state's governor, Jehyson Guzmán, said.
“I congratulate the entire team of the Mayor's Office of Campo Elías, because together with Mayor Simón Figueroa and with the support of President Nicolás Maduro, they have applied more than 3,000 tons of asphalt,” he said in statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).
This week, the state president supervised the work carried out on Centenario de Ejido Avenue, the main road between the municipalities of Libertador and Campo Elías.
“Here we are placing 200 tons, applied progressively. There are several fronts of work in this municipality (Campo Elías)”, details the report analyzed by AVN.
The works in the jurisdiction simultaneously cover the road to the town of Jají, that is, Local Highway 004, where the 140 tons of asphalt placed have already been exceeded.
The municipal balance sheet includes the recovery of asphalt road sections in the Carlos Sánchez, El Moral, El Manzano, El Salado, Las Cruces and Jají sectors, among others.
