In the Pemón indigenous community of the municipality of Gran Sabana, Bolívar state, a registration day was held to guarantee the right to identity, an activity that extended to the Hacha Ken, Hacha Merú, Murey Merú and Wame Waken sectors.

The Ministry of Indigenous Peoples specified that the plan began in the community of Parkupik and then government teams assisted the riverside families of sector VII Ikabarú.

In this regard, according to a press release from the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), more than 1,000 people received documentation and civil registration services through the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens in Venezuela (Saime) and the National Electoral Council (CNE).

In addition, the Community Captaincy, the Council of General Chiefs of the Pemón People, the Civil Registry, the Municipal Council, the Ministry of Education and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
