With the objective of strengthening cognitive abilities and encouraging interest in knowledge, the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the state of Guárico provided teaching and competence materials to the Youth Institute of the region (INJUVEBG).

The equipment consists of a teaching board, five game boards and a professional watch, tools designed to consolidate logical-mathematical thinking in the entity.

This initiative, according to a press release, seeks to consolidate and give continuity to the various chess clubs that live in the state, promoting strategic learning and academic development of young people.

In this way, spaces of healthy competition are consolidated that prepare new generations to assume leading roles in the scientific and technological fields.
