The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that, so far this year, at least 16 people have been killed by gunfire by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. The victims, aged between 13 and 60, are part of a larger balance of more than 1,150 deaths at the hands of soldiers and colonists since the escalation of the conflict in October 2023.

Violence intensified this Thursday in Nablus, where a 15-year-old child lost his life after being shot by the Israeli Army during a military incursion. This occurred just one day after the murder of Awda Atef Awawdeh, 25, who was attacked by settlers in the town of Deir Dibwan.

Tuesday's day was especially tragic, especially the assault on a school in Al-Mughayyir. In this incident, Aws Hamdi Naasan (14) and Jihad Marzouq Abu Naim (32) were shot dead by settlers acting under the protection of occupying soldiers, who also opened fire during the attack.

In Hebron, the death of Mohammad Majdi Al-Jaabari, a 16-year-old boy who lost his life after being run over by a settler, was recorded. These events highlight a pattern of increasing aggressions affecting both schools and the civilian population in various parts of the occupied territories.
