This Wednesday, June 26, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced the appointment of the 5th Attorney's Office of the State of Bolivar and the 74th National Prosecutor's Office with competence in organized crime to investigate the criminal act of sabotage against the Angostura bridge.

Through a post on his account on the social network X, Saab explained that the mission is to investigate and punish the serious events that occurred on the Angostura Bridge that connects the states of Anzoátegui and Bolívar.

“Some criminals intended, through vandalism, to collapse the infrastructure, carrying out nerve cuts that caused serious damage to the aforementioned structure,” explained the Prosecutor.

In this regard, he warned that individuals found responsible for actions to sabotage the nation's public services will be punished with the maximum penalty.
