Community spokespersons from the state of Anzoátegui participated in the National Day “The People Go to Their Barracks”, held at 300 training centers in the 21 municipalities of the entity.
The inhabitants mobilized to military installations to participate in the process of training and training for territorial defense.
Raiza Morales, municipal spokeswoman, highlighted the participation of women in the organization and training process.
“Women continue to defend the Bolivarian Revolution and the country. We have received military, police and civil training in different territories. Today we heed the call of President Nicolás Maduro together with the living forces of the communes. We are organized to defend the Homeland,” he emphasized.
Morales highlighted the importance of the level of organization achieved by municipal structures and their coordination with military authorities, in accordance with the guidelines of the constitutional president Nicolás Maduro Moros.
For his part, Gregorio Araujo, stated that “the call is for all social, civil, police and military forces to form, take up arms and defend sovereignty. Today we are carrying out military exercises as part of our commitment to the Venezuelan political process. We want to guarantee peace. We have joined forces to defend the Republic if necessary.”
Araujo reiterated that the self-determination of the Venezuelan people is the cornerstone of mobilization and that military practice is part of the commitment of men and women to the defense of sovereignty.
