The UCV and Academia Puerto Cabello will define the final home run of the 2024 Apertura

The zero-goal tie between UCV FC and Academia Puerto Cabello, at the Olympic Stadium in Caracas at the conclusion of the regular round of the Apertura Tournament and they agreed on a win-win equality for them.

The academics, the undefeated leaders of the tournament, accumulated 25 points as a result of 6 victories and 7 draws while their rival Academia Puerto Cabello was tied with Deportivo La Guaira with 20 points, the product of 5 wins, 5 draws and 5 setbacks but with a better goal average.

After finishing as the leader of the regular round of the Apertura, UCV FC obtained the last place in the final phase of the Open Tournament of the Futve League. With this tie, Deportivo Táchira, the current champion of the tournament, was eliminated.
