They don't give up! Cabello: Our farmers work to bring food to all of Venezuela (+photos)

This Monday, April 27, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the work of the peasant sector in the state of Mérida, which, despite difficulties , is always committed to the country's development.

“This is part of the people who never give up, that despite the problems and the situation, our peasants get up to work very early (...) to bring food to all of Venezuela,” he said during a meeting with producers and farmers from various municipalities in the state of Mérida, in the La Asomada sector.

He also highlighted that the work of the Chávez Vive Social Production Company , which produces zucchini, purple cabbage, white cabbage, smoked cheese, asparagus, among others. In addition, he highlighted that Mérida, Táchira and Trujillo are the main vegetable producers in Venezuela.

For their part, representatives of the producer and peasant sector reaffirmed their commitment to continue producing food for the country and to guarantee agri-food sovereignty, despite difficulties.
