This Tuesday, May 20 , an audio was revealed confirming the payment of $3.2 million in bribes to the extreme right, María Corina Machado, for the primary elections, social media campaign and other surrender plans.
In the conversation that Venezuela News had access to, American lobbyist Williams Armstrong is heard talking to the Brazilian journalist, Patrícia Lélis, about the acceptance of the payment and the business that the United States proposed to Machado.
Lélis , who reported that the United States was seeking to promote and sell María Corina Machado's false leadership among public opinion and also to position the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, as a dictator, worked as a communicator in a lobby office on Venezuela linked to the conservative network Fox News between 2021 and 2023.
The $3.2 million bribe mentioned in the audio is the reason why the communicator was hesitant to travel and deliver directly; which is why the company Howard Stirk Holdings (HSH) began to suspect her.
It should be noted that Williams Armstrong was the direct boss of Patrícia Lélis and the American Republican lobbyist who represents HSH to bribe Machado. In addition, he is a political commentator and owner of the media outlet The Baltimore Sun.
Faced with Lélis' refusal and doubt, the US agent began a series of attacks against him through direct messages to his social networks. “I wouldn't expect anything different from a stupid and selfish Latina! I'll make sure you never work for anyone in DC again until you have to go back to your third world shit!” , he said in one of the many messages that Armstrong sent to the journalist.
Let's remember that the evidence reveals that after Lélis resigned, the money was moved through the DISENSO Foundation as a recipient of such resources for the campaign and the smear work through social networks.
