600 tons of supplies collected and dispatched from the collection center that was set up at the headquarters of VEN 9-1-1 in the state of Bolívar to support people affected by the earthquakes that occurred on June 24 in the central region of the country.

Commissioner José Zambrano, director of VEN 9-1-1 in the entity, stressed that in just 72 hours of uninterrupted work, 23 cargo vehicles were mobilized, including trucks, shots, pans and cellars, to the National Collection Center, located in La Carlota, from where aid is distributed to the affected areas.

Zambrano noted that more than 500 people, including members of security agencies, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, volunteers, students and citizens, participated in the work of receiving, sorting and dispatching the supplies.

In addition, he highlighted the solidarity demonstrated by merchants, companies, organized communities and citizens of the different municipalities of the state of Bolívar, who have delivered non-perishable food, medicines, personal hygiene items, clothes, tents, flashlights and other essential implements.

He also explained that the 269 Peace Quadrants and the entity's communal circuits were also incorporated into the collection operation, allowing donations to be concentrated in the largest collection center in the state to speed up their transfer to Caracas.

Finally, he reiterated the call to the population to continue collaborating with this day of solidarity, and recalled that all help adds up to serving the thousands of Venezuelans.

In the same way, he reported that the VEN 9-1-1 service is keeping its lines of attention and psychological support active in the face of the seismic swarm that continues to occur in some areas of the country.
