This Wednesday, Metro de Caracas will resume operations at 100%

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán announced that this Wednesday, April 24, the high-impact rehabilitation work on the Caracas Metro system will be completed, and the road will operate at 100% from the Colegio de Ingenieros station.

By tomorrow, Wednesday, “we will be opening traffic on both lines to 100% from the Colegio del Ingenieros station,” he said, quoted in a press release from the ministerial portfolio.

He added that the work is 95% complete and that in the coming days users will be able to see an improvement in the transport system, with the addition of trains that have been fully maintained, including air conditioning, lighting and the ergonomic seating system.
