This Wednesday, May 13, Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport was the scene of a new reunion after the landing of flight number 144 of the Great Mission Back to the Homeland, which brought back 143 Venezuelan migrants from Miami, Florida, United States (USA).
As detailed in the press release of the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), thanks to the logistical management of the Bolivarian Government, this group of compatriots returns to the country with the firm intention of rejoining national life and actively contributing to the productive development of the nation.
The official report states that this new group was made up of 98 men, 25 women, 2 adolescents and 18 minors, who since their arrival were accompanied by a preventive device coordinated by various security bodies. Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), and the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), closely supervised each phase of the landing to ensure an orderly and smooth process for the nationals.
After completing the procedures in the migratory tunnel, the migrants received personalized attention that included comprehensive medical evaluations and individual interviews, focused on ensuring their physical and emotional well-being after the trip.
With this new arrival, the Venezuelan Government, through the Great Mission Back to the Fatherland, reaffirms its commitment to facilitate a dignified and organized return, consolidating a bridge of hope for those Venezuelans who decide to resume their journey in their homeland.
