From the Bolivar Squares and various corners of Yaracuy, the patriotic people, together with their authorities, fervently commemorated the 71st anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez, a day to reaffirm their revolutionary legacy of unity and loyalty.

In the Independencia municipality, the community of Brisas del Terminal was the scene of an emotional event. The outgoing mayor, José Jhonatan Mujica, highlighted the figure of the Commander as a “man of tireless struggle” who left an “indelible legacy and deep love for the country”.

For his part, the mayor-elect, José Alejandro Mujica, highlighted how, thanks to Chávez, important victories have been achieved and a true transformation of consciousness has been achieved in all areas.

Likewise, the newly elected mayor of Nirgua, Miguel César, joined political, military and popular power leaders in the plaza “Hugo Chávez” to pay tribute to the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution. In addition, he described it as a fundamental pillar in the political process led today by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

In Bolivar, Mayor Sol Colmenares expressed a unanimous sentiment: “Even if she is no longer physically present, her voice and struggles are still alive in every heart that dreams of justice and equality.”
