During Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, there will be total restrictions on vehicle traffic on Troncal Cinco (TO05), specifically on the Los Peluches - Vía El Mirador section, San Cristóbal municipality, due to rehabilitation work in the area.

The measure, which will apply from 11:00pm to 5:00am, will suspend passage for both heavy and light vehicles, while pedestrian and motorcycle traffic will be controlled by authorized personnel to ensure the safety of citizens.

The closure of the road is due to the deployment of work for the recovery of this important section, an action planned by the Government of Táchira together with the Ministry of People's Power for Transport, as specified by the head of the Road Institute (IVT), Ángel Márquez.

He pointed out that the night day will take place as long as favorable weather conditions prevail in the area, contemplating the mobilization of equipment and heavy machinery, in addition to the deployment of crews of workers and technical personnel.

Márquez asked drivers to comply with the technical recommendations, pointing out that this road rehabilitation action responds to the need to meet the request of road users and residents of the area.
