From the state of Trujillo, within the framework of the second stage of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, urged the institutions of the Bolivarian Government this Friday to implement national food plans together with agricultural producers in the country's states.
“All the work plans, all the food plans that the National Government has, all of them, from the Ministry of Food, the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, instead of buying from it companies that are based in the city of Caracas or in other capitals, that feel obliged to buy from (...) directly from producers here in Trujillo and in other states of the country,” Rodríguez said.
During a meeting with the entity's producers and farmers, he pointed out that this initiative should be applied to food plans such as the School Food Program and all children's programs, to strengthen national production.
