Trujillo firefighters intensify work in affected areas of Caracas and La Guaira

The specialized brigades of the Trujillo State Fire Department remain massively and continuously deployed in the critical areas of Caracas and La Guaira, under the direction of General (B) Dr. Aidee Villa de Rodas, head of Redan Los Andes.

According to information issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRJP), this special operations team “executed meticulous and intricate search and rescue maneuvers in collapsed structures (BREC), managing to enter areas of total collapse to extract deceased victims.”

In addition, it was known that simultaneously, engineering and prevention units, led by Lieutenant Colonel Wilmer Alvarado and Major Walter Ávila, multiply the number of Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (EDAN) censuses to secure the urban perimeter.

While the pre-hospital medical team is being kept active “through preventive guards in tactical camps”.
